I am available for dog walks, boarding, in home care, vet visits and overnight care. I have had pets my entire life. I have trained five of my own dogs through local dog training organizations that focus on positive reinforcement, owner education and developing an understanding of animal behavior. I have learned much about animal behavior through these classes. I will support and reinforce your training efforts. In addition, my family has volunteered with Fidos for Freedom and at the MCHS. I have been a pet-sitter and dog walker for numerous families in our neighborhood and spent a great deal of time at local dog parks. This has provided tremendous insight into the interaction between pets and their owners. As well as the interaction between groups of animals. In addition to the two dogs that I currently have as pets I also have a fiesty fun Maine cat. We have adopted/rescued several pets over the years and I am familiar with shy/fearful/reactive behaviors and the importance of establishing trust. I am kind and gentle and observant. I am fit and active and would love to take your active dog on a hike or run. I also love hanging out, brushing and playing with the cat! We have a large fenced in back yard and live in proximity to three large parks with trails. I am mature and responsible with excellent local references.
