I love helping people and animals. I am hard-working, patient, and detail and goal-oriented. I'm also not afraid to get my hands dirty. I am very experienced with animals - I have a dog (and parakeet) of my own, and I have taken courses in veterinary tech during my high school career. My vet tech courses involved caring for numerous types of animals daily. I have fostered kittens and a rabbit, and my past pets include amphibians, hermit crabs, fish, snails, another parakeet, another dog, and cats. I also have experience with farm animals, as my school has an agricultural program that I participate in, and a barnyard out back (with sheep, goats, ducks, chickens, and pigs). Last summer, I worked with the Nature Conservancy (PA Chapter) to clear new trails and pull up invasive species in multiple nature preserves as a Leader of Environmental Action for the Future.
