Hello my name is Julieann D. I have been living, working with, and around animals my entire life. I grew up on a farm with pet deer (white tail and piebald), geese, chickens, ducks, pheasants, cows, peacocks, swans, goats, all those guys and more. I was the aquatics manager at Pet Supplies Plus for over 10 years were I was in charge of fish, reptiles, small animals, and birds. I also worked at a show kennel for 2 years were I dealt with other peoples pet dogs that were shown in AKC Confirmation. When the owners of the kennel were out of town on show trips I was left at their kennel to deal with the dogs that did not get shown that week. I currently have two European Doberman Pinschers, a salt water aquarium, I also raise Quail and Russian Pacalonian Chickens . I an very well rounded when it comes to pets from cows all the way to a canary. My big thing is to know the routine of the animal that I am watching, have the vet information on hand in case of an emergency, feeding specific rules, and any allergy or medications the pet needs to take. Some people might be into the playing and getting to meet new pets. I am also for that, but my main goal is the health and well being of the pet while there owner is away and to make the time go buy unnoticed as possible by the pet. It can be a very stressful time for them even if its a parakeet. Believe me they know when there loved ones are gone. My husband is a police officer and works different shifts and thanks to him he gives me the opportunity to do what I want and that is helping people out with there pets and giving them a reliable realistic person who will focus on the well being of their pet while they are away. I also will send you pics of your pet every day and tell you how he or she is doing or if anything seems wrong .
