Animals have always held a special place in my heart. From 4 to 12 years old, I lived on a farm with several horses, chickens, cats and dogs. In middle school, when things got tough (bullying, low self-esteem, etc...) my pet rabbit was always the one to cheer me up after a rough day. As I entered my senior year of high school, I decided to combine my passions of animals and health to become a veterinarian.
Currently, I am a student at Austin Community College and am a regular volunteer at Austin Pets Alive. In my free time, I enjoy playing sports, cooking, watching foreign movies, painting, and thrift shopping. I have taken a Pet First Aid & Emergency Response class and am very confident in my abilities to care for your four-legged, two-legged and winged loved ones!
