I have four years of animal training and experience, I have worked in dog pounds as well as humane societies, and with that being said I have learned on what to do and what not to do when working with animals. There are many different types of breeds of dogs and cats, along with other animals etc. and with that being said that means that you need to know knowledge of each type of animal and its heritage, so you can properly take care of them because one animal might have one trait/ skill that another does not or a specific food or daily exercise. I also feel it is best to know the background of an animal so you can develop a method on how to teach or show them new tricks, behavioral/ discipline techniques, and to be the fun loving pet that you want and are proud of. Taking care of animals helps you to gain responsibilities and patience which is key for a successful life it is truly a great opportunity, enjoyable, and very fun.
