Pet Sitter in Edmonton, Alberta

I'm an
Individual
RESPONSIBLE 38 YEAR OLD. I LIVE IN OLIVER AND TAKE THE TRANSIT RIGHT NOW BECAUSE I HAVE NO CAR.i do have a lisence. IF YOU NEED SOMEONE RELIABLE, CARING, TRUSTWORTHY AND DON'T WANT TO SPEND A FORTUNE, I WOULD BE PERFECT. CITY LIMITS ONLY PLEASE.I have no children. Right now I have no pets.I was a child when my mom and dad had a dog kennel in Prince George BC. They also took in cats. They raised pigs and chickens and had 2 horses. Ever since from childhood to adult I have always had pets. Mostly cats and dogs, but hamsters, fish, budgies, and my brothers iguana. As an adult after college I did an enormous amount of travel working with children on Princess cruise lines, then moving with my bf to his home in Belgium (Blankenbourg ). I did not get a pet until I new I would be settled in my home for a long period of time.i also had a job working 48 hours to 72 hours in a seniors home, unable to leave, or bring my cat or dog. I denied the position when i first got it because Meowsers would be alone all that time. I accepted the position again after I got married and my husband (at the time) was very good buddies with meowsers and would be happy hanging out with him. I don't believe in getting animals and getting rid of them to accommodate my own lifestyle. Right now I do not travel for over a week at a time and havent rven done that in ages..... I can get a pet and happily know I have committed and would be never get rid of my pet. I thought I would include this because knowing that getting a cat or dog and being aware of your lifestyle is so important. Things do happen in life and there are situations where the pet would be better off adopted from another family (ie.having a baby that is allergic to cats). Getting pets on the spur of the moment and getting rid of them constantly (moving in with your bf who hates cats) is irresponsible. A person that knows this sees pets as important as humans will care for thete own petd as well as others. .Right now I do not have a pet but I've got very attached to my bf's cat and consider her my own pet. We do plan on moving in together. I don't want to get a cat of my own until we have both thought it through about living together. I think it would be hard on our cat but she also got along with her buddy for years that was a dog. I thought I would include all this information not because I think you would find it in anyway fascinating. You may be wondering when I am going to just stop with the useless info.?I just thought if you see someone that considers this much care in her own pets and know sometimes not having a cat is better for the pet if your lifestyle doesn't suit it. Imagine how much care I would put in your cats and dogs. I would enjoy there company without pay. Being payed to care for cats and dogs would be a dream come true. Other then the obvious clean up it would be hard to believe it was a job. That being said im very knowledgeable and proactive about the amount of time between cat litter clean ups, dog cat feedings and how much, fresh air and bathroom time for dogs as well as cleaning up after them, brushing them playing with them and monitoring odd behavior that may indicate illness or depression. (My bfs cat peed on my leg last year. She's never done it befor or after. We did not call her a bad cat instead we were worried it was a UTI or other health issue or depression/anxiety. After much observation she didn't do it again so we felt it was a one time incident. Your pet will get so much attention and care from me that she or he may miss you a lot but won't have much time to sit and be sad about it because they will be busy with me. When I got people to watch my cats I had small requests that felt ridiculous. Don't ever be embarrassed to tell me a request that feels somewhat strange or silly because it's not. Especially if it eases any anxiety about there owner being gone.
