Nice to meet you! My name is Chelsea. We have a beautiful Amazon parrot who we adopted. She unfortunately lost a leg due to abuse in her previous home. She is bonded to me and we adore her, however due to missing a leg she often feels off balance and will bite very hard if she feels as though she is at all off balance. This makes grooming and handling very difficult. We are hopeful for someone who can offer advice on how we can accommodate her special needs better!
