Who I Am: Hey my name is Kate. I offer reliable, certified care for furry family members! I'm aiming to apply my animal experience towards a pet sitting job in the Ferndale area (Lynden and Bellingham included!). Flexible scheduling for clients. Services And Training: I am certified through PetSaver® CPR, First Aid, & Pet Care Certificate Course. There I learned a variety of immediate actions to take in an emergency with both dogs and cats; along with warning signs for illness. Growing up, my family owned a farm with domestic and barn animals alike. Cats, dogs, goats, horses, hamsters, fish, etc. I have always loved animals and had a special connection with them. Professionally, I worked at a cat rescue for 9 months until being laid off during hard times for the employers. I took great care with cats of all temperaments. Note: I prefer to work with cats but will happily take dogs and other small domestic animals I can take care of maintaining pet health, providing play time and companionship, taking pets for walks and/or letting them out to play, food & water, medicine giving, and some grooming (not good with nail trimming).
