Hello! My name is Julia, and I am a passionate and knowledgeable animal lover. I grew up surrounded by animals, and continued that love by working with animals in my professional life as well. I hold a diploma in Equine Science and have cared for a wide range of animals including horses, pigs, cows, rabbits, cats and dogs! I have worked for a pet care company specializing in dogs with reactive and anxiety issues, therefore I was trained in dealing and caring for animals with illnesses, disabilities, anxiety, reactive issues, fear of humans or other animals, and senior pets. I am skilled in administering oral and muscular injected medicine, as well as animal massage to aid in the care of your beloved pet. I am presently the coordinator for a small farm sanctuary outside of Calgary, where we offer permanent home to abused and abandoned farm animals. This position allows me a very flexible schedule, therefore I can accommodate overnight visits in your home, as well as daily drop ins or walks. I am located near Spruce Meadows in SE Calgary, but am happy to travel to SW Calgary, SE Calgary, as well as surrounding areas such as Okotoks, High River, Black Diamond and Bragg Creek.
