My passion for animals sprouted from growing up with dogs, and feeds my volunteering efforts. In school I excel in honors, holding rank 3 out of over 250, and participate in over five organizations including the National Honors Society. I am an animal curator at Arizona Animal Welfare League, certified in Pet CPR and First Aid. I have worked at the shelter for two years, trained in handling and caring for dogs, cats, and exotics. I was awarded the Volunteer of the Year Award in 2013 for my responsibility and care when working with animals.
