Who I Am: Hello, my name is Dana Rohwer! I'm 19 years old, I've had cats since I was 4, and a love for animals since I was born. I grew up in Northfield, Minnesota, and just recently moved to the city 2 years ago. Where I live now, I can't have a pet, so on time off I like to visit the local humane societies to volunteer, or go on walks around the lake I live off of and dog watch. Services And Training: My first job was working at the local humane society in my hometown. I officially worked there for a year and a half after having volunteered a year prior. Because it was a small facility, I did a little bit of everything. Primarily, I kept the facility clean and fed the pets, playing with them and making sure they were comfortable and happy. I also spent a lot of time socializing new/shy animals, making sure they were calm and comfortable, and patiently working with them to make sure they became familiar with people and other animals. I have a driver's license and am comfortable driving a distance to care for a pet. I've been pet-sitting for family and friends since I was 10 years old, and in high school I had a couple of pet/house-sitting jobs for college professors in the town. I'm comfortable adapting to different environments, and am very open to whatever may be requested of me on a job.
