Hello my name is Laura. Pets stand out to me as ones who love unconditionally! Some cats I beg to differ but they want the cuddles deep down sometimes. I have a 19 year old tabby cat who loves cuddles. When I was a little girl, a lady in my neighbourhood saw me doing newspapers and asked if I liked cats. I got to know her and many people in my neighbourhood and she invited me inside with my Mom to meet her ‘beasts’ as she calls them. The first time I met George (her grumpy old-man cat), he gave me his belly to run instantly. She said he doesn’t do that normally but seemed to like me. She was also the only person to see him do his summersaults and as I lean down to pet his tummy, he does one just for me. She looked at me stunned and back at him and said ‘well! You’ve gained a friend George!’ Eight years later, he still gives me the grumpy look but wants a tummy rub here and there. She’s moved away now so I’m looking to get my cuddles again. I love animals as well as people and am excited to get to know more!
