Pet Sitter Job in Ventura, California

Hi there my name is June and I saw your card at the Wharf. We have 2 diabetic dogs (7 and 8 years) newly diagnosed with diabetes and both on insulin. Our regular pet sitter is not able to help us with the twice daily insulin injections. Our older dog has had cataract surgery and requires eye drops (only flurbiprofen 2 x daily) as well. The other is newly diagnosed so he is doing glucose curves now but hopefully will be stabilized by our trip. You would also need to let them in and out when you are in and give them their diabetic kibble and soft food (cooked turkey). They are on a schedule getting their food and then their medication shots at 7:30 pm and 7:30 am. In case of accidents we have an ample supply of doggie pee pads kept downstairs. We have a family graduation in mid-June in the Bay Area and would be away about 1 day. Our other petsitter will come in to care for our parrots and feed them and let them out when she is here, but it is likely you will not see her. Our main concern is the meals and insulin for the dogs and letting them out in our fenced backyard. We are in east Ventura off Kimball. Please let me know if you would be interested. We have not had a vacation since they were diagnosed so having help with them would allow us the opportunity to take some much needed time off.
