Pet Owner in Niceville
The dog: 12 year-old (we think) rescued Havanese (we think) who grew up on the mean streets of Los Angeles. Has a heart of gold and a list of fears longer than the Walk of Fame, including other dogs, cats, reflective vests, traffic cones, bicycles, skateboards, and men (especially if they wear hats). Allergic to chicken. He is extremely attached to his owner, who is extremely attached to him but has also sadly been forced to work to fund the dog's peanut butter habit. The human: Thirty-something Californian whose current daily life revolves around the dog, the office, and the gym. Works (and works out) primarily in Crestview with weekly travel to Fort Walton, DeFuniak, or Milton. Can sometimes get home by 4:30, but trapped until 6:30 about three times a week. Would like to provide a steadier routine for the aging pup. Minimum job requirements: Monday-Friday, sometime between 2pm and 4pm, take the dog outside on his leash for a bathroom break, then return him safely to the doggie-approved zone of the house. Would prefer this occurred about the same time each day. Job opportunities: Potty break as described above generally hanging out and keeping the dog company for an hour or two on days when it suits your schedule. Take a short leashed walk that's really more about standing and sniffing, sit in the sun, or read a book or watch Netflix (after I unpack the tv) while the dog chills on the couch. Could be paid by the hour or by services provided.
