Experienced with: Dogs (all breeds), cats, small animals, reptiles, fish, birds Hi! My name is Marie. I am living in Atlanta at the moment and plan to officially move here in the near future. I am 25 years old and have been working for the same company since i was 14. It is a job I am not happy with and I am taking this move as an opportunity to pursue a career doing what I really love, which is working with animals. I have had family pets my entire life but a few years ago I adopted my first dog. She is a 5 year old, 60 lb pit bull and she is my pride and joy. I treat her like my child, and would do the same for any pet a care for. I also have a soft spot for animals that have a bad reputation (pit bulls, pigeons, rats etc). I actually have two adopted pet rats! (I know-- kind of weird, but I promise, they make awesome pets!). I am a huge pit bull advocate and am able to work with dogs of any breed or size. I am also not nervous around dogs or other pets that can be "temperamental". I am willing to meet any pet, no matter what issues it may have, and as long as they are comfortable around me, I would be glad to work with them. I also have experience caring for disabled pets. I am really excited to begin my career working with animals and I think this is a great way to get my foot in the door. Currently my availability is afternoons, evenings, early mornings and weekends, but starting in September I will be available everyday and at any time.
