I'm Jenn Gauthier, a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for a variety of pets including dogs, cats, snakes, tortoises, rats, hamsters, and fish. In the past I've worked in a nature center caring for various animals and teaching families about them, and I've also done casual pet-sitting for friends. I have experience fostering pregnant female cats, monitoring labor, and helping mama care for the kittens when necessary. I'm looking to take on clients for my new pet-sitting business so I can use my knowledge and experience full-time. I'm reliable, hard-working, and I positively adore animals, including my own four cats who are extremely spoiled and well-loved. Rates: I'm currently charging an introductory standard rate of $10 per day regardless of how many pets you have, along with a free initial consultation where I meet your pets and we work out how you'd like me to care for them while you're away. Each day includes two hour-long visits for your pets, one in the morning and one in the late afternoon or evening, according to your preference. My rates are flexible depending on what kind of pets you have and what type of care you require for them. If you only need me to stop by and feed your fish once a day, or if you have a nervous dog with special needs who requires more than two daily visits or even needs care 24/7 while you're away, we can work something out. ;) Services: I provide all standard pet-sitting services, including feeding/watering, walking, snuggling, playing, brushing, poop management, and giving any needed medications, along with anything else you need me to do. I am extremely flexible, and willing to do pretty much anything necessary in order to provide the best possible care for your fur babies. If you're going to be gone for any length of time, I'm also happy to bring in your mail, open and close the curtains, water the plants, and in general make it look like someone is home in order to help keep your home and your pets safe. As an optional service included in the standard fee, I can text you daily pictures of your pet while you're away so you'll know they're happy and healthy.
