Not sure about this question, my Doxies are so sweet, loving but spoiled. We are 60 and treat them like our babies. Our 40 year old son lives with us as my husband Tom is a disabled veteran..
We also have a Canary name Doc and a Gecko name Pi and in the next 6-12 months my husband will be getting a Service Dog.
