Small pet sitting for the smallest members of your family. While you are away, I will care for your FUR children. This is NOT a boarding facility but my home. Rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils (in my home/on premise), fish, birds and cats (on premise only) welcome. SORRY NO REPTILES. Get Acquainted Visit - If this is your first time boarding with me, we can schedule a FREE Get Acquainted Visit prior to your first pet sitting service. This will allow you to meet me and allow me to get acquainted with you and your pet(s). These visits are up to 45 minutes long. If additional time is required, it will be billable at $8 per quarter hour. During this meeting your pet's needs will be carefully noted. For on premise visits, please feel free to leave additional instructions and daily updates will be noted as well. Please book as early as possible. Rates: In-home (Rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils) In home care consists of temperature controlled, non-smoking and quiet environment for your pet's boarding needs. I board a maximum of 2 small pets/pet sets (maximum 4 pets) at a time in order to give them maximum love and attention. $10/day, $15 for a pet set (2 in cage) I do not provide cages. Must provide pets supplies; food, feeding dishes, bedding, medications, treats, toys etc. On Premise Care (Rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, fish, birds and cats) On premise (in your home) care consists of keeping your small pet(s) safe and comfortable in their home environment and in their normal routine according to your specific instructions. A schedule can be set if you have a pet whom does not need to be visited daily. Care Includes: Up to 2 visits per day A Treat or Two Cage or Litter Cleaning Fresh Food & Water TLC Play Time $20/day, $5 for each additional pet. (1-visit) $35/day (2-visits) Payments must be made by cash, check, money order or square at drop-off. You must have your debit card (for square) on file with me to cover incidentals and additional fees outlined below. If you prefer not to leave a card you may leave a $200 fully refundable deposit. Availability Unless I am on vacation, I am available every day of the year including these company recognized holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. There is a $10 per visit surcharge for small pet care visits on these days. Reservations that include any of these holidays or the week preceding and/or following the holiday should be made a minimum of two weeks prior to the holiday. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold these reservations. Holiday reservations are limited and are available on a first pay - first serve basis. Medications Medications will be administered to your pet according to your written instructions. Medications are charged at a rate of $3 per administration. NO INJECTIONS Cleaning Up Pet Messes I do not charge extra for pet messes. For on premise care, please set out cleaning supplies in a visibly accessible area. I will not look through closets or cabinets etc. for supplies. This is an invasion of personal space. If cleaning supplies are not readily (noticeably) available I will purchase at a reasonable price and bill them to you. Food & Supplies Should your pet run out of food or urgently need any supply I will purchase it. You will be responsible for the cost of items purchased plus a $20 fee per shopping trip. Emergency Veterinary Care I will not board or sit sick pets, this does not include giving routine medication (see above). In the event of a medical emergency, acting in your interest to the best of my ability, I will transport your pet to your veterinarian, if possible, or to another open veterinary clinic. I will make every attempt to contact you first. In this situation there will be an hourly rate of $8.00 to transport and remain with your pet at the veterinary clinic. You will be responsible for any and all veterinary charges. We will make every effort to have the veterinarian bill you directly. Pet Pick-up / Parent Return It is very important that you pick up / return to your pet(s) on or before the final day of your reservation. Pets not picked up by the end of their reservation will be charged the regular fee plus half the regular fee. For on premise care, please call me to let me know you have arrived home safely to your pet. Abandonment If you have not returned to your pet within ten days of the scheduled departure date the pet will be considered abandoned. After this time if all attempts to reach owner and family (including phone, mail, and certified letter) are unsuccessful your pet will be re-homed to the nearest family/facility. Very Important You must have your debit card (for square) on file with me to cover incidentals and additional fees outlined above. If you prefer not to leave a care you may leave a $200 fully refundable deposit. This Agreement is subject to force majeure, including without limitation, accidents, acts of God, illness, storm, weather conditions, orders or acts of military or civil authority, national emergencies, insurrections, riots, wars, or other delays beyond my reasonable control. I am not to be held responsible for reasonable delays caused by such events, but shall use reasonable efforts under the circumstances to avoid or remove such causes of non-performance.
