Pet Sitter in Fredericksburg, Virginia

I am a licensed veterinary technician who is currently employed full time with a local hospital. Animals are my life. I love them, love playing with them, caring for them and just being around them. I have been at my current job just over a year and while I love it the hours make it difficult to have a traditional part time job. I was a pet sitter for years in Alexandria but have not done much locally since moving here. I am hoping to be able to combine my desire for extra income with the ability to help owners in need of someone to take care of their pet in their absence. I am trained to deal with/ treat multiple illness and conditions so sick or elderly pets are ok. I also have no problem administering medications. As much as I love to help animals I will not take on a position where I feel my current work schedule interferes as it is not fair to the pet or owner. Each pet is different so their care is different, I've found it is best to speak with owners find out what the pet needs, let them know what I can do then proceed if it's the right fit for everyone. Y
