Pet Sitter Job in Ojai, California

I live in Ojai CA. I have a German Shepherd who has special needs and will need a little extra TLC and supervision. He is very friendly and sweet. He is 7 years old and has been diagnosed with Degenerative Myelopathy with has impacted he ability to walk. I need someone to watch him in my home while I am gone for 10 days in November and will be over Thanksgiving. This person must be extra caring and have the time to watch a handicapped animal. He is functional but just requires time and patience. I would like someone who can spend the night with him and check on him during the day. I am struggling to find anyone who is willing to take on the responsibility of a handicapped pet and have been turned down everywhere even without ever meeting my dog..."nope we don't deal with special needs". This is a dog who spent most of his life as a working dog and helping others, now when he needs help and everyone is turning him down. Please help.
