Pet Sitter in Bolton, Connecticut

I am presently retired from a long career working in universities. We presently have 7 cats all strays. (5 are 14-16 yrs old and 2 are less than 2 years). When I bought my home, it came apparently with a feral cat colony. We began taking them in, having them neutered and then finding homes for kittens. Over the years, some have passed away and there were no stray cats until last winter when 2 guys were hanging around. Prior to this time and throughout my life, I always had a dog including a Huskie, German Shepherd, terrier, and lastly IrishSetter Mix. Except for Brandy (my last dog/Irish Setter mix), I never had cats. I did have at the same time with her. I love animals and the joy that they provide to our everyday lives. If I would ever hit it big in the lottery, I would try to open an animal shelter and provide support to shelters who dedicate their lives to help animals in need I have no special training - just a lifetime of caring for my own pets. Some of my cats have medical needs especially given their age and pet sitting would assist me in providing for their additional care I live in Bolton Ct and would prefer opportunities within a 15 mile radius. I could also stay overnight in your home if that was necessary. I know how important the home environment is for an aging pet.
