I have been a petsitter, owning my own business for the past 2l years, l0 of those in the Boston area. I have cared for almost every kind of animal, but mostly dogs and cats. I took a Red Cross training program for animals. I know what it's like to have a stranger take care of your animals, as I have 6 dogs and 1 brave cat who does well with all our dogs. That is why I can provide excellent references, people who have used me for some time and are familiar with my service. In addition to coming into your home, I also board small dogs in our l/2 acre fenced-in yard. There is always a meet and greet situation for boarding as all of our dogs have to get along, which is usually not a problem at all! I can give medications and insulin injections to cats with diabetes. Most important, I am sensitive to the needs/concerns which you may have in working with your animal(s). I always meet with clients in advance of taking on a new animal as familiarity is so very important.
