My name is Charlotte. I have been working with many species of animals for over 20 years. I have experience with domestic breeds, livestock, and aquatic animals. I also have experience house sitting and will follow your written instructions to the letter- and if I am unsure of something, I ALWAYS ask for clarification to make sure I am doing it right. I repeat what you say back so that I understand, and double check once more to be sure. I will take your animal for a walk, to get groomed, clean up your yard of their waste, give them affection that they so richly deserve, and of course feed them and ensure they have clean water. I can and will provide references for you if you ask. As far as aquatic animals go, I have experience with turtles and fish. I can clean a tank and the filters, make sure the equipment is running properly and inform you if it isn't. I know how to measure out chemicals for a fish tank (i.e. one capful per 20 gallons) and can administer certain medications, such as pills or powders, flea and tick ointments, and oral syringes. I personally enjoy letting animals onto furniture, so I must be informed if this is a "no-no" in your household. I can do overnights, I can do quick walks, I can do dog parks or playgroups, and I understand the risks involved with animals. Wouldn't be the first time I got kicked by an Alpaca, after all. I am engaged and usually my fiancé comes along with me wherever I go. He is part of the pet sitting program, and respects and loves animals just as much as I do. I like to offer reasonable rates and work with you. I am currently employed part time, but that does not mean I won't give your pets the best treatment and care I can. I am comfortable with house sitting for you as well. If you need someone to stay there for your pets so they aren't alone, my fiancé and I work together and try to ensure someone is there at all times. We are a team, I should say. Of the two of us, I have the most experience with farm animals and am working to train Matthew on working with them as well. I have written references and, should it be needed, can provide a template for you to fill out concerning your animals, their feeding schedules, and any house care you may need from me.
