Schedules for December and January are now open! I have had experience providing care for a variety of animals while their families were on vacation throughout my adolescence. I am particularly well-versed in care for small dogs, cats, and small animals. I strive to meet YOUR pet's needs. Each has their own way of life, and my services in caring for your pet(s), too, are versatile. I can provide care for an extended period, a weekend, an evening, or regularly through the month of April. I follow instructions in detail to provide the utmost comfort and to maintain routine, as well as additional personal attention and playtime to reduce stress from their owner's absence and release pent-up energy. I have also offered daily walks outside the residence for weeks when it was assessed that this would be a secure activity for the individual pets. I have cared for pets from Pugs to Golden Retrievers, indoor and outdoor cats, small animals of both gentle and aggressive natures, and, in one family, a fun young Ball Python. In addition to my employment experience, I have two cats of my own, nearly two decades of experience in care for my personal rodents, many wonderful dogs in my family to love, and association with fish, birds, and other reptile species. I have also done volunteer work with the Ellis County SPCA to care for, clean up after, and raise funds for shelter animals. I love caring for animals and getting to know new ones that call their family "home!" And I understand - for many "pet owners," this is not just a "pet." They're your child! I believe in giving them the personal care they very much deserve. If duties such as watering plants or mail/newspaper pick-up would be beneficial for pet owners away on travel, I have also often performed miscellaneous services by request such as these, including unusual ones, such as daily maintenance of a tee-shirt printer!.
