Hi, My name is Monica. I am 18 years old. I currently attend community college in Santa Clara County. I grew up with many animals around me. Some of them were part of my home and others were out in the world needing some love and care. My goal is to become a veterinarian and to someday open an animal sanctuary. My experience has been acquired from animals that I have had throughout my life: these include: dogs (3 yrs), cats, rabbits (3 yrs), chinchillas (2 yrs), hamsters, and mice (3 years). I have basic first-aid knowledge for dogs. My hands on experience includes: cleaning cages, kennels, litter boxes, walking dogs, bathing, drying, brushing cats and dogs, administering oral medications (pills, syringes) and eye drops. If I am unfamiliar with a particular aspect of personal care for your pet, I am willing and ready to learn to better serve your pet’s needs. I have worked with small and medium sized dogs with different temperaments and ages. Animals are my passion and I will always aim to give them the best care possible. I promise to be patient and gentle with your animal. I understand that they are a part of your family.
