Pet Sitter in Zebulon, North Carolina

Hello! I'm Alexis, and I am looking to start pet sitting in and around the towns of Zebulon, Wendell, and Knightdale. I work at the animal hospital down the street as a Vet Technician and I absolutely love it! I usually work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Fridays from 8:00am to 6:00pm with a break around 12-1pm. I tell you this because some families may want a pet sitter than can be with their pets a majority of the day. On the days I work, I can feed and do potty breaks in the am, lunch, and pm. Any extra chores you'd like me to do, such as getting the mail, watering plants, etc, I can do at no additional cost- just let me know what and when I need to do them. On the days I am off, I can take dogs to parks (if allowed), spend extra time with pets at home, and I also offer baths with my own supplies at $15 a dog or cat. Baths include the bath itself, nail trims, and ear cleanings. As far as pets go, I am more than willing to watch all breeds of dogs or cats, reptiles, and small mammals. I have experience with horses and donkeys, as well. I have experience with dispensing medications and the magic of pill pockets that every animal loves! :) Working at an animal hospital has given me an abundance of knowledge on breeds and temperaments of different animals. I've learned many techniques on how to handle aggressive or anxious dogs and cats. Meet and Greets will be a requirement for me because in most cases, it makes pet sitting 100% easier. That way, when I come in and take over your pet's daily schedule, it won't be a total shock for them to see me, rather than a stranger. I love small dogs, like yorkies or dachshunds, but I also love the bigger breeds like Anatolian shepherds and Labradors. I really have no bias towards any breed and can handle any pet, just let me know ahead of time if they are aggressive or owner-protective. I am always willing to learn new things, so if it is a new experience for me, all I will need is directions and I am set! I ask questions when I need to, and treat your pets as if they were my own. I will do my best watching your fur babies while you are away. Thank you!
