Hello! I'm Mariana, a portuguese girl spending some time in USA before starting master's degree in Portugal. As I do with babysitting, I can't tell you how useful will be my italian or portuguese languages, or swimming skills to teach to the kids. But I can tell you more about my dogs... The need to protect and take care of animals always made part of my education. My mom would come back home to bring food and water to leave to some dog that we have seen abandoned somewhere. I can say that that education, as every animal and the need to protect them makes to every person, made of me a better human being. From the moment I decided to bring an abandoned dog to my house, 8 years ago, without even asking to my mom, our family became bigger because she actually brought us, 1 month later, 6 other members with which we decided to stay. Two years ago we received another abandoned girl and, right now we have 8 dogs and five cats that started appearing around and decided that the food was too tasty to leave our house. As you can imagine, although I have no paid experience with animals, I have a long (and numerous) resumee and you can trust me: I'll care of your dog as good as you would!
