I live with my husband, Dan and pup, Stout. I graduated from Stonehill College, received my Masters at Northeastern and now work for Boston University. I've been living in South Boston for around 4 years. I have been dog sitting for almost a year and I have a number of past sitting and years as experience. I have had a dog all my life, and am very aware of the hardships of finding someone to look after them. Not everyone is a dog person, even if they claim to be and it would scare me to know that my dog was staying with someone who may love dogs, but not so much the time, effort and attention dogs need. I'll treat your dog as I would my child. I won't feed my child dog food, so I am not going to feed your dog people food. I am an energetic person and you can count on me to be sure that your dog is getting the exercise and bathroom time he/she needs. I'll also make sure your dog is as loved as my own. They need distraction while their parents are away and I will be there to give it to them. Don't worry though - they won't love me too much that they won't want to come home! In the end, they know who their best friend is, and that's you. I promise to keep your best friend safe and happy. Selfishly, I do this for a few reasons; me - because if I could own 12 dogs I would; and for my dog Stout, who would LOVE another buddy to play and cuddle with! Please be sure that your dog loves his own kind. Since I live on M Street, I am right next to a park where I take my own dog. There are many dogs to play with, so please let me know if your dog would, or would not, fit in well with that environment and I'll find something else for us to do!
