Welcome! My name is Joseph O'Sullivan and I am a Canine Rehabilitation Specialist. My main area of expertise has always been with extreme circumstances. I work with dogs that express abnormal levels of assertion, fear, aggression, anxiety, anti-social or compulsive behavior. In addition to this, I work with and coach people to improve their ability to communicate with their dog. I was taught to respect the evolved nature of our equally beneficial relationship and treat dogs as I would prefer to be treated, myself. Dogs provide us with something very special, otherwise, we wouldn't have the incentive to provide for them for over 15 000 years. We should always be reminded of this amazing partnership and, ultimately, the equality of all living things. We should always be grateful to have the trust, love and loyalty of such capable animals and learn to remove ourselves from our often dominant perception in order to fully reciprocate. I BELIEVE IN MY UNDERSTANDING OF SPACE, TIMING and ENERGY There is no name for what I do, but I can tell you, it predominantly revolves around love and hard work. Every dog I work with is different, so the training is different, but the goal is always the same. I want to remove the negative circumstances that surround your relationship with your dog and provide you with the ability to make them positive. I will help you to build trust through the expression of affection and effective communication. We will develop any training scenario we feel will help develop the skills you want your dog to have and we will do so with intelligence and respect. I know that I am just a person and I have accepted that I will make mistakes. I do not offer you the perfection you see in televised dog training. What I do offer, is that I will work with you for as long as it takes to reach our goals and I will always do my absolute best to make sure you have the most effective results possible. My goal is to help dogs to learn more about how to function in the world most of us live in and bring people closer to them, spiritually, than they have ever been before.
