Pet Sitter Job in Sioux Falls, South Dakota

We are looking for a home for our 8 yr old cocker spaniel for occasional weekends that we are out of town. Being around other dogs stresses her out - my kids' border collie caused enough stress that our dog got a cherry eye....so preferably a home no other dogs. We will be leaving this week after work on Thursday and returning Sunday night. Emmie has no special needs - she is our only child. She is trained, of course - can't even remember the last time she had an accident, but we have a doggy door so she lets herself out. She doesn't get sick from occasional table food, so no problem if she gobbles up something dropped on the floor. She gets along fine with kids - we have 4 yr old twin grandkids who live next door and are in and out constantly, as well as a 1 yr old grandbaby that Emmie loves to death. She will bark if someone comes to the door, so If you have a newborn baby napping, that may not work. She does not bark any other time. She's not a runner at home, she stays right by our house, but hard to say what she would do at a strange house. She doesn't get walked regularly, so not a big deal if that isn't a part of your day. We left her home for a weekend recently with people checking on her and she was so lonely she wouldn't eat or even get off the couch when they came....so we really don't want to do that again if someone would take her in their home while we are gone.
