My ideal pet would be a lion, but since that is quite unrealistic in Canada, I would love to have a hedgehog.
I have had the opportunity to work with many animals, such as dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hampsters, and fish. I would occasionally watch over the animals of my friends and acquaintances, and have had many animals in my home throughout my childhood.
