Pet Sitter in Grand Bend, Ontario

Hi there! My husband and I live in the Grand Bend/London/Sarnia area of Ontario, Canada and would like to offer our services as house/pet sitters for your furry family members. Wayne is a retired manager for Bell Canada, and I have a background in real estate and mortgage sales, although I am now a full time published writer (www.....com) We know how hard it is to go away and leave your beloved pets in a kennel, or with someone you aren't sure can be trusted to care for them as needed. In addition to having the benefit of many previous years of animal care for our own pets, we began house/pet sitting both locally and in other locations throughout Ontario and the US. Now empty nesters whose own family pets have passed on, we enjoy caring helping others when they are away from home and need to find good, realiable pet/house sitting. It's not a job to be undertaken lightly, so we provide references from some of our past home/pet owners. We've been entrusted with a variety of duties, including dog walking, overnights for extended periods (i.e. 2 weeks - 3.5 months), house care, basic property maintenance, feeding of animals, maintaining the house to homeowner's standards, mail collection/forwarding, providing human security during extended stays, drives to/from airport for homeowners, picking up pre-arranged pet food supplies from homeowner's veterinarian, indoor plant watering, etc. Of course you could get a family member, or neighbour to come in and see to your pet(s), but are you confident they'll follow through as you need them to? For longer away times, you may need more than just the once or twice checking in, so hiring us to the job makes logical sense. For shorter away times, the same holds true. You'll want the peace of mind of knowing your pet(s) and/or home are properly looked after by mature adults who have experience and a trust value you can rely on. We typically charge $11-18.00/hour, depending on responsibilities. For additional information on fees for overnight or longer away stays, please contact us directly.
