After being an at home mother I became a Social Worker, employed at a local shelter in the East Bay called Shepherd's Gate, a program for homeless and abused women and children for over a decade. I then cared for my elderly mother for two years before decideding to go into Child Care. I worked as a live in nanny and did side jobs for four years up until this past summer. Since then I have been caring for a client with a terminal disease. This job has come to an end and I am looking to return to Child Care.
