Hi! My name is Hannah Moore. I am a student at UNCW on the pre-vet track and I would like to continue working with animals! I have had animals my whole life- 19 years of experience. Within those 19 years, my family has had 3 dogs, 6 cats, 2 hamsters, and 2 guinea pigs... so I definitely know how to love on some animals! I also have worked at 3 different animal hospitals as a kennel technician (from 2012 to 2014) and a veterinary technician (over summer 2015) I am able to administer medications if need be. I can care for cats and dogs of all ages! Rodents are included as well since I had hamsters and guinea pigs growing up. I love them all! I also used to foster puppies anywhere from starting at 6 weeks old: fresh out of the shelter. I want to be a veterinarian when I grow up, so I wish to work with animals to gain more and more experience every day! I also went to South Africa on an animal conservation trip towards the end of the summer in 2015. I worked with cheetahs and african wild dogs, but I am sure those skills will not be needed here in Wilmington! I also am currently taking a dog training class at UNCW so I can learn more about dogs every day! I have a huge passion for animals, and am looking to help people take care of theirs since I cannot have my own fur-babies in college.
