Pet Sitter Job in Glen Allen, Virginia

Our family is seeking a pet sitter/caretaker for our vacation week of July 25 through July 31. Preferably someone that is able to stay in our home with Max while we are gone Max came into our lives 4 years ago when we rescued him from the shelter he was placed in from his previous owner that was abusive and negligent in all ways! Because of Max's abusive past he has a VERY HARD time being boarded when we travel. We have tried 3 different times and all times same results. We have had to come home early from our vacation due to him becoming extreanly sick which last for debate days until he is home for a few and comfortable again. Our vet says he has separation anxiety due to his previous abuse as a puppy and that the boarding experience reminds him of that, and the feeling that we are leaving him. Max is a VERY calm and relaxed Dog! He likes to sleep and eat and hang out with the family! He does like to be with you majority of the time; when you move he's right there with you. The person that will care for Max that week will need to be able to take him on at least 3 long walks daily and show him the TLC he is used too! We live in the Twin Hickory/Short Pump area and prefer for the aitter to stay with Max in our home. Please contact me on my cell if you are a valid candidate to care for Max.
