Pet Sitter Job in Toronto, Ontario

Hello, We are looking for a special someone to come in and look after our two rescue dogs so that we can have a little time away from home. We have two small dogs - one dachshund and one dachshund mix. They are very sweet, loving dogs who have sadly, both had numerous homes before landing with us; and as such, come with some of the behavioural quirks often encountered with rescue dogs. They have come a long way in the time they have lived with us and we have worked hard with behaviourists etc to understand what makes them tick. At the end of the day, they need a firm, loving hand and lots of stability and routine. We are, therefore, looking for an experienced sitter who will be able to come in and stay at our home whilst we are away. Because of the dogs' previous experiences, we would like them to be able to stay in their home, rather than going to stay with someone. Both dogs also suffer from a level of separation anxiety, so we are ideally looking for someone who will be happy to not leave them for more than a few hours each day. Most of our trips will be for 2-4 nights but, if we find the right person, we would like to be able to go back to Europe for a longer stint once a year.
