We have 2 dogs - Jake - a hound mix about 45 lbs. and Foxy - a chihuahua mix about 15 lbs. Jake has never met a stranger. He will bark at times, but he just wants to play and be loved. Foxy is a bit timid and shy at first, but once she warms up to you, she will snuggle like crazy. Both do well with other dogs, but Foxy may need a gradual introduction. They love their daily walk. We do not kennel them at night - they sleep on dog beds and do just fine.
