Pet Sitter Job in Rogersville, Missouri

Busy veterinary clinic is seeking a part-time kennel technician. Applicant will work Monday through Thursday with approximately 3 hours per night. Hours will vary depending on number of pets boarding. Applicant may be asked to cover an occasional weekend shift or to cover when another tech is on vacation or ill. Job duties include, but are not limited to, kennel cleaning, feeding and medicating boarding animals, walking numerous dogs per shift, and lifting at least 50 pounds when necessary to assist elderly or disabled pets. Job also consists of janitorial duties for the hospital areas (mopping and vacuuming). This is not a job for the faint of heart. Must be good with animals and not be squeamish about bodily fluids or messes. Many of the boarders are energetic, large dogs that require a steady hand and confident manner. We also host cats that often resemble cranky ninjas.
