Pet Sitter in Jacksonville, North Carolina

I was a Student Worker at Chestnut Hill Farms in Sleepy Hollow, IL for 8 months, assisting with horseback riding lessons, feeding horses, doing laundry, leading horses to pasture, etc. I worked at Santa's Village AZoosment Park in East Dundee, IL for 4 years as a zookeeper where I handled exotic animals, fed animals, prepared special diets, and operated the Pony Wheel and Train Ride (teaching guests about the exotic animals throughout the ride). I worked at Petland in Crystal Lake, IL for a year and a half as a Kennel Technician where I cleaned kennels, fed animals, gave medicine (both oral and injections), and gave baths, did nails, and cleaned ears. I worked at Pampered Pets Resort and Spa in East Dundee, IL for 5 1/2 months as a Pet Pal (doggy daycare, feeding animals, cleaning kennels), I worked the front desk a little bit, and I was used for In-Home clients where I visited homes, walked dogs, played with them in the backyard, fed them, whatever was asked of me. I had to quit this job to move to North Carolina. Most recently, I worked at Animal House in Jacksonville, NC as a Kennel Technician for 5 1/2 months where I fed dogs, organized play groups, did laundry, cleaned runs, took pictures when pet parents asked, and gave refresher baths when needed. I occasionally volunteer at Lynnwood Park Zoo in Jacksonville, NC, helping the owner out with feeding, watering, cleaning, setting up new enclosures, anything that needs to be done.
