My name is Eleni and I am a PhD student in Applied Economics in MIzzou. I have a Siamese mixed female cat named Elizabeth, and we live in the North-West part of the town. I moved to the US two years ago, all the way from Greece. I grew up in a village of 500 and was raised around chicken, goats, cats and a dog (well, and many more). My parents were also part-time farmers, and I remember that every summer my family and I moved closer to the sea to take care of our beautiful farm, always taking our little herd of cats and chickens along. If I was not an AgEconomist and did not want to be around people who like science and research, I would be a vet. It is both extraordinary and fascinating how animals are connected with us; they are a real blessing. As a pet owner myself, I understand that everything that is worthwhile comes at cost. You need to find a good and trustworthy person to leave your beloved pet while you travel or being busy. I believe I am the right person for taking care of your pet, and I couldn't imagine a better way to supplement my grad-student stipend than this.
