R&R Rescue & Resort is run by married partners, Rachel Salisbury and Robert Given. We both have a lifetime of love for animals. We have done dog boarding together as a team since 2012. We started working with other rescue organizations in 2015. Late 2018 we purchased a property that allowed us to open up our own animal rescue and boarding service, run from our home. Animals always go home happy! We only crate for safety or comfort reasons. Please send your dogs or cats with their own food, so their tummies don't get upset. We'll provide everything else!

R&R Rescue and Resort truly lives up to its name. Rachel and Rob, the operators, routinely going above and beyond in their determination to save the lives of animals at risk. Some of these animals have behavioural issues, but all are brought into the home, and treated as part of the family. Vet check-ups, and any necessary ver care are provided, and when an animal is offered for adoption, the adopting parents can be sure that all neutering / spaying has been done, and all vaccinations are up to date. R&R also offers boarding services, and dogs have safely supervised access to the huge, fully fenced yard, where they can run, romp, and roll in the thick grass, and pee on the trees! Dog heaven. Cats are also welcome, and given equal love and luxury. Fees are reasonable. This really is a good place for animals. These people genuinely care.
