I am a very outgoing person and I ensure the safety to all pets. Before I touch the pet, I go down to their level and introduce myself. During work, I speak to each animal, I do this because I think it is a nice gesture and makes them a little more comfortable around me. I love animals and always have had some sort of pet. I can handle any type of pet and know many breeds of dogs and have handled many of them. I do not mind size of dogs or the attitude they portray. I have been trained for cash and stock as well so I know all the products we sell and am very familiar with all types of animals. I have been a Bather since July. My responsibilities include trimming dogs nails, cutting around their paws and pads, cleaning ears, bathing, drying and brushing. PetSmart has many safety policies I must practice to ensure full safety and the most happiness with each pet parent. Generally I only care for the dogs, but I have cared for the cats through trimming their nails and have also fed many of the reptiles. I have gone through shifts of training so I know the stress signs of animals and to check certain health factors. I currently have my own cat and have had many dogs, cats and hamsters throughout my life.
