Pet Sitter in Hinesville, Georgia

I recently moved from Atlanta where I had my own pet care business for 3.5 years. I REALLY miss my Atlanta animal clients (and the human ones too) but I needed to relocate to Hinesville to be closer to family. My daily jobs were: walking dogs and/or releasing them to their back yard for a potty break/playtime and I also had a customer who travelled every week for business so I would visit his cats twice a day to feed, refresh water and play with them. Quite often I would pet/house sit for clients who travelled for work or vacation. I recently sat for a client who travelled in Italy for three weeks. My animal experience includes horses, dogs, cats, birds (really just chickens) and fish (fed tropical fish in a huge salt water tank). Prior to living in Atlanta I managed a riding stables in Hartwell, Ga for 5.5 years where I cared for horses, dogs, cats and chickens. While living in Hartwell I was a founding member and on the Board of Directors of the Hart County Humane Society where I held the office of Foster Coordinator. While there I gained experience with administering medications and rehabbing injuries. I also fostered and found forever homes for over 40 animals during those 5.5 years. While running my pet care business in Atlanta I unfortunately gained experience with canine cancer (4 different clients…sad) and the treatments. I helped care for them by administering meds, cooking special meals and even driving them to their chemo appointments. One of these clients insisted I be listed with the family’s name on death certificate. I can tell you more about my experience when we talk. I will eventually offer pet sitting in my home but since I just moved and I am not quite settled in yet (boxes everywhere) I prefer to wait ‘til it’s safe. I have two canine children who are dog, cat and bird friendly. Zeke is a 9 year old English Springer Spaniel and Mitzie is a Jack Russell mix. Both are rescues and up-to-date on their shots (including Bordetello). The rates I quote here may vary (less or a little bit more) depending on the circumstance (number of pets, length of visit,..) so I look forward to you contacting me and we can customize a program for you and your pet(s) needs.
