Hello! My name is Sarah Dickson, and I am 20 years old. I am originally from Prince George, and moved to Langley when I was 6. I lived there until I was 16, and now I live in the beautiful Okanagan! Growing up I have always loved animals. In fact, since I was very young, I have wanted to be a Vet Technician, am applying for school at TRU or Olds college this fall to pursue my dream career, working with animals!! I hope to do farm work, along with small animal work. I have dealt with almost every domestic animal! Dogs, cats, rats, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, ferrets, chinchillas, cockatiels, budgies, finches, canaries, fresh water fish, and mice! As far as reptiles go, I have worked and cared for bearded dragons, multiple different breeds of geckos, snakes, frogs, and scorpions. I work at McDonald\'s currently as a crew trainer. I have also worked at Total Pet and Costco! In addition, I volunteer at a Vet clinic in Kelowna, helping in preparing for surgeries, cleaning animal wastes and cages, and assisting in giving animals medication! Overall, I am very comfortable being around animals and dealing with whatever breed I can! They are my passion, and would love to help you care for them as much as possible! I rode horses for 7 years, so I know general care of them. I worked at total pet for 4 years, and took care of all the animals there including feeding, cleaning, and interacting with them constantly. I also volunteer at Kelowna Veterinary Hospital, and help care with the animals there. So I am comfortable with any sort of animal, and any care that they may need. I have also grown up with a lot of different animals, many dogs, cats, and small mammals.
