Hello. My name is Lisa Kocher. I am 25 years old and have lived with animals my whole life, and this is where most of experience with animals comes from. Patches - Terrier-Poddle cross; was going to turn 15 this summer had he not passed in January due to heart failure three months after having a paw amputated. He was a special dog with special circumstances. He had a typhoid problems and had skin allergies. So I was comfortable giving his medication. Princess - Pekegiese-Shitzu cross; is a family recuce from the Humane society. Who lives up to her name of Princess and runs the house hold. Jack - Jack Russel-Shitzu cross; who came to our family unexpectedly. He is a little boy who is wonderful. He has a kidney problems, which means he is on medication and a special diet. This diet is actauly homemade food, from a \"cookbook\" that our vet has given us. And boy oh boy does he enjoy his homemade food. Fred and George have only been with me for a 1 1/2 years. But they are mine little boys. Being ferrets they are constantly trying to get into trouble and keep me on my toes. Through my extended family I have taken care of bird, fish, rabbits as well as dogs and cats. As with all animals food, shelter and a friendly personality are needed. Duties for these animals including preparing and feeding, cleaning up afterwards. Medication when needed. Transportation to and from the vet\'s office or groomers. Minimal grooming at home - the occasion bath or brushing. And going to short or long walks depending on age, temperament and weather conditions. Below I have put in one year paid experience, however I have never worked for a company that requires this. Most of my experience comes from pet sitting my parents animals or other members of my family. Most of this wasn't paid for unless I needed to purchase food, in which case I would be given the money ahead of time or reimbursed for at a later date. it happened because i like animals and my family.
