Hello, my name is Elana Wilson and I am currently moving to Saskatoon in search of new opportunities. I have experience in animal care as I own a border collie and a cat myself. I would say that animals are my passion. I particularly enjoy exercising and training dogs. Personally I have had many pets in my lifetime. I currently have a boarder collie and a cat of my own. I can provide general care (feeding/watering/cleanup) and exercise. For larger, higher energy dogs I am able to provide long walks/runs (up to 10km). I have experience handling both small and large dogs. I also have experience in treating sick or injured animals. This past spring my own dog was got caught up in fence and had to go through two reconstructive surgeries. He was on "bed rest" for two months and required complicated treatment such as injections, "draining" the incision, intensive sterilization of the wound, and the administration of sedatives, painkillers, ointments and anti-inflammatory medication. Also, I would like to mention that I have experience in recognizing the symptoms of physical distress and injury.
