Pet Sitter Job in Ben Lomond, California

We have two dogs, both around 7/8 years old, who are both soulful, friendly, but very very different. Buddy loves to play fetch - incessantly, Bo loves to chill and snack - incessantly! They both love walks and sitting on the deck, taking in the sun and the warm. Both hate the rain - yuk! They both live with us in the Santa Cruz Mountains where they have the space and quiet and nature to just be. We are Brit transplants having landed in California 4 years ago. Buddy came with us. He's been with us since we rescued him at 12 weeks old. Buddy is a Boxer, Staffy, Border Collie kinda mixed up delightfully goofy mutt. Bo has been with us a year, he was also a rescue but from Sacramento this time. He's a Puggle and doesn't really do the whole play thing. He's just happy to chill with you and snuggle, truth be told. We sometimes go away, with work or just for a break here and there. these trips mean we can't take the dogs with us logistically so we would look for someone who can sit and be with them during the day. If our son stays behind then that's cool for overnights, but if he has plans then someone to be with them overnight would be great too. Once they meet you, they're your best friends for life. They'll bark when a car goes past, but that seems to be the norm among the neighborhood dogs. We need someone local-ish who understands older dogs - not yet senior, but not pups anymore. Common sense and a knowledge of the local area - for walks and so on would be useful too.
