I have worked with multiple boarding and day camp facilities over the last 4 years. I have also done dog grooming for a short time as well. Before that I had been with an animal shelter for almost two years where it became aware to me just what I wanted to be doing for the rest of my life. For the last 8 months, I have been a veterinary technician/assistant at an animal hospital. I am skilled in handling medicine and giving it both orally and physically. I have also worked with drawing, preparing, and giving vaccines on not only companion animals, but livestock. I have assisted in surgery and the breaking up of dog fights. I am qualified to handle any medical situation. Besides all that hands on experience, I have received my bachelors degree from the University of Rhode Island. The University of Rhode Island has a farm on site specifically for their AVS students. In the near future I will be opening and building my own business that is the perfect heaven of what any pet owner could only imagine. I will provide the best and rewarding service for your animal in any way that I can.
