Hello, my name is Paige. Since the traditional route of finding a job has yielded nothing in the last year, I thought I would use something I love and have experience in instead: working with dogs. Whether you have a dog with behavior problems, or if you simply don't have enough time to take Fido or Lassie out for some much needed exercise, I'm here to help you out at a low cost. So, onto my experience. Throughout the years I have worked with dogs that are: Not leash trained Human aggressive Dog aggressive Aggressive towards small animals Territorial Insecure/shy I stay calm, and know how to prevent a fight if an unleashed dog charges at me and the dog I am walking. However, it isn't just dog walking that I'm interested in. I'm also hoping to help people out by dog sitting. A big problem dog owners face is separation anxiety. Many people put off going on vacations, get togethers with friends or loved ones, or simply going out to see a movie because they're afraid of what their pet might get up to while they're gone. If your dog has a tendency to any of these things while he or she is left alone: scratch on the doors and/or windowsills dig or chew up the carpet dig under the fence chew the furniture get into the trash pee or defecate on the floor bark or howl until you return Then they may be suffering from separation anxiety. Having someone in the home while you're away for long periods of time will ease their sense of abandonment, and prevent them from going through this high level of stress. I'm very well educated through not only talking with veterinarians, and animal nutritionists, but also experience dealing with my own pet when it comes to food allergies, and giving medicine if your pet has some type of special needs that requires it. Unfortunately, I'm unable to board any animals in my home. I'm a renter, and the home owners will only allow my dog on the property.
