I've been blessed to have shared my entire life with one pet or another (dogs, cats, guinea pig) and with that, assumed the responsibilities to ensure their well-being, either in part, as with our family dog and cats, or entirely, as an adult owner of beloved cat companions over the years, two with me, currently. I am retired from 30 years as a Psychiatric Aide and Home Health Aide. My many responsibilities, as a Home Health Aide, when caring for a client, included providing for their pets' needs (feeding, litter box maintenance, play, exercise, taken outdoors for elimination, etc.) as it was unfeasible for the client to uphold these responsibilities. This was always an aspect of my job that I particularly enjoyed and regarded as a perk. As a skilled caregiver, I was responsible for a multitude of responsibilities, both health-related and with managing household duties for my clients. Trustworthiness and dependability were paramount qualifications for this profession to which I proudly maintained a sterling reputation throughout the years. Furthermore, my entire life, I have had an affinity for all animals, large and small. As a passionate animal welfare advocate, I am a member of PETA, the ASPCA while supporting many other animal rights organizations and shelters through online signing of petitions and donations.
